Brief History & Benefits of Copper

Nano Copper Films is a polyester-based, copper-coated film. Polyester essentially being a sterile product adds to the overall efficacy of the film. Polyester based films are common, and their benefits well known and documented. Copper coating on the film is unique and one of its kind. Apart from being odour-Less, human-friendly, environment friendly some of its other properties are enumerated.

Cu+ Transmission 80%

Copper Ions prevent cell respiration, punch holes in the bacterial cell membrane, disrupt the viral coat as well as destroy the DNA and RNA inside. The latter property is important as it reduces the chances of mutation to zero – preventing the microbe from developing any resistance to copper.

Cu+ Attaches to Curved Surfaces

Copper coated surfaces kill microbes upon contact, decimating their population which according to new research indicates that no live microorganisms can be recovered from the surface after exposure.
